SharpLink Gaming has entered a strategic partnership with Superstate, a financial technology company specializing in digital transfer agency services, to launch tokenized securities on the Ethereum blockchain. This collaboration is aimed at modernizing capital markets by showcasing how public companies can use blockchain to increase efficiency, add shareholder value, and streamline operations.
One of the functions of SharpLink in the partnership is to utilize Superstate’s Opening Bell platform to issue tokenized shares that maintain the legal status of conventional equity while offering features like self-custody through digital wallets and merging with decentralized financial products.
Exploring the Future of Tokenized Securities and Decentralized Finance
The partnership goes beyond just issuing tokenized shares. SharpLink and Superstate are also working together to explore how regulated equities might eventually trade on Automated Market Makers (AMMs) and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. According to SharpLink, this could open the door to greater liquidity, more efficient capital flows, and increased transparency in U.S. equity markets.
This initiative aligns with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Project Crypto, which is researching how digital assets can fit into existing regulatory frameworks and transform financial infrastructures.
SharpLink’s Ethereum-Based Strategy and Vision
It is important to note that SharpLink’s action to transform its equity into a token on Ethereum reflects its broader plan of merging traditional finance with DeFi. As it stands, the firm has already made significant strides with its Ethereum treasury strategy, which began in June 2025.

SharpLink has accumulated over 838,000 ETH and earned thousands in staking rewards. Joseph Chalom, co-CEO of SharpLink, stated that tokenizing equity on Ethereum is a bold move that signals where the global capital markets are headed. The partnership with Superstate will be an important step in making tokenized equities a mainstream asset class.
