Los Angeles-based wellness tech startup CUDIS is expanding its blockchain health data platform by launching its Solana-based token, also named CUDIS. This new token will reward users who wear the brand’s smart wellness ring and follow its AI-powered fitness program. To this end, the token aims to give users more control over their health data and a decision to make in the platform’s governance.
At this point, it’s important to note that the program is part of the growing “DeSci” (Decentralized Science) movement, which uses blockchain to open scientific research and reduce dependency on traditional institutions. However, the first token airdrop begins June 5, and CUDIS plans more rewards for long-term users.
To this end, the token supply is 1 billion, with 50 million set aside for the first airdrop. As it stands, the tokens will be available on popular exchanges like Binance, Bybit, and Bitget.
Rewarding Health with Blockchain Technology
CUDIS makes a wearable ring that tracks important health metrics like steps, sleep, and heart rate. This data is then used by an AI coach to create individual fitness programs. Now, users can earn the coin by using the device and engaging with the application. However, the aim of creating these tokens is to serve as rewards and allow users to help shape the future of the platform.

As it stands, the use of blockchain also helps protect user privacy. However, by integrating with the World App, which confirms user identity and secures biometric data, CUDIS hopes to ensure that users can safely self-manage their health records.
To this end, the company believes that combining health tech, AI, and Web3 tools will create a more open, trustworthy, and fun fitness experience.
Growth and Future Plans
Since its launch in May 2024, the firm has sold more than 20,000 wellness rings and gained more than 200,000 users. The app has already processed billions of biometric data points. CUDIS also raised $5 million in seed funding led by Draper Associates to support its expansion and product development.
With Solana’s fast and low-cost blockchain, CUDIS joins other projects using “consumer crypto” to bring real-world value to users. According to CEO Edison Chen, the token launch is just the beginning. More airdrops and features are planned to keep the community growing and engaged.
