The initial purpose of BTC (Bitcoin) was for it to serve as a cryptocurrency, but it hasn’t been able to fully achieve this sole purpose. At the same time, the ETH (Ethereum) smart contract has been famous mainly because it also permits developers to build on them.

Ordinals

Now, Bitcoin Ordinals is a new means for developers to build on the bitcoin blockchain. In the meantime, this means Non-Fungible Tokens. Non-Fungible Tokens are the starting point of the possibilities that ordinals have brought to us. However, Purists reacted against the arrival of the Ordinals. This reaction was mainly because they believe that Bitcoin must only be used as money.
