Ripple Makes Moves To Provide On-Demand Liquidity Solutions In Europe. With the latest collaboration agreed with Ripple, Xbhat and Lemonway, accounts do not have to be pre-funded before international transactions can be conducted.
The key part of this development is the use of Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity Solutions—given that more than half of consumers are attracted to a crypto-based payment system. With this ODL, there’s room for efficient cross-border transfers at a low cost that doesn’t require a prefunded account.
In a statement issued by Ripple on October 11th, this development will mean Lemonway and Xhabt don’t necessarily have to pre-fund their accounts before conducting international transactions. Their ODL solution would also address the common cross-border payment issues like efficiency, dependability, or high transaction costs. An additional advantage would be the opportunity for businesses to give free cash rewards to their clients.

This development is expected to assist in addressing issues with international payments related to efficiency, dependability, and high transaction costs or fees. Employing Ripple’s ODL is expected to give businesses the opportunity to use some free cash as rewards or giveaways to their customers.

This month, Ripple begins working with other developers of the Digital Dollar Project to look into the potential of creating a digital US dollar that might be useful for immediate cross-border payments.
